LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
Greetings from the membership of the Hampton Roads Association for Financial Professionals. We are delighted that you want to know more concerning who we are and what we can do for you.
Our purpose is pretty simple… we want to provide a venue for financial professionals to exchange best practice concepts and ideas to improve treasury and cash management functions. Our group is a combination of corporate and government treasury practitioners as wells bankers and industry providers.
We meet bi-monthly and offer programs to learn and discover new ideas pertaining to treasury issues that challenge us in the marketplace. The format is aimed at interaction with our guest speakers as well as with others present. Our goal is to offer resources for our membership through individuals and organizations that will help in fulfilling the needs of the workplace.
We recognize the need for continuing education in order that our members may maintain professional designations. Our meeting programs qualify for Certified Cash Manager (CCM); Certified Treasury Professional (CTP); and Certified Public Accounting (CPE) designations.
We meet at the Residence Inn Norfolk Airport, 1590 N. Military Hwy, near the Norfolk International Airport in order to provide easy and convenient access from anywhere in the Hampton Roads region.
